Girls Gymnastics Rec. Classes
Our one-hour girl’s recreational gymnastics classes are taught by Safe Sport-certified instructors. We keep the class sizes small so that students get hands-on guidance.
Girls I
Ages- 6-10 (60 minutes)
Ratio- 7:1
This hour long class is for beginner girls of different ages. Students are taught skills on each of the four main Olympic events: vault, uneven bars, beam and floor, using USA Gymnastics skill progressions. Gymnasts warm-up for the first 10 minutes of each class, incorporating cardio, flexibility, and strength into their warm-up. The remainder of the class is spent on the apparatuses, trampolines, and a little conditioning/flexibility. This beginner class focuses on mastering skills including: hurdle technique on the vault, cast technique on the bars, and an arabesque on the beam.

Girls II
Ages- 6-10 (60 minutes)
Ratio- 7:1
This hour long class is for intermediate girls with previous experience in gymnastics. To ensure proper class placement, minimum proficiency must be displayed in the following areas;
Floor: Cartwheel, backward roll, and standing back bend.
Bars: Cast, Front Support, and Pull Over.
Vault: Proper Run, Hit board with 2 feet, and correct hurdles.
Beam: Straight Jump Dismounts, Hops, and Ice Cream Scoops.
Gymnasts warm-up for the first 10 minutes of each class, incorporating cardio, flexibility, and strength into their warm-up. The remainder of the class is spent on the apparatuses, trampolines, and a little conditioning/flexibility.
This intermediate class focuses on mastering skills including: a handstand flat back on the vault, leg swings on the bars, and a forward chasse on the floor.

This hour long class is for advanced girls with previous experience in gymnastics. Girls who have achieved proficiency in the intermediate class will progress to the advanced class where they will be taught advanced skills on each event. The focus is advancing through the USA Gymnastics skill progressions.
Gymnasts warm-up for the first 10 minutes of each class, incorporating cardio, flexibility, and strength into their warm-up. The remainder of the class is spent on the apparatuses, trampolines, and a little conditioning/flexibility.
